This is a test to see which image Facebook and Twitter pull from this post.
The full logo, Mom Behind the Curtain… because every mom wants to be an all-powerful wizard, is the first image in this post.
The universal social sharing image template will be the second image in this post.
But it will also be the featured image.
Things that might affect the results. This blog is built on Foodie Pro on the Genesis framework. Foodie Pro has the ability to put in a featured image, but the featured image doesn’t show up in the post, unless you insert it specifically in the post. (In theory, I could have used three images for this.) Using the default social sharing buttons on WordPress (in JetPack). Plugin SEO Yoast also installed.
Results
Facebook pulled the featured (or second) image.
Twitter also pulled the featured image.
Pinterest pulled the Featured Image and the title of the blog post – not the alt tag. Or the description. But if I use the Pin It bar in my browser it pulls one of those instead of the title. But this shows that my social sharing button isn’t optimized for Pinterest.
