For WordPress security, it’s a good idea to create a new WordPress user as an Author or Editor to use whenever you make new posts from an un-secure location, any place where someone else can access wifi and swipe your password as you enter it. You will need at least two email addresses to do this.

Be sure to backup your site.
How to add a new WordPress user
You will need an email address that hasn’t been used for another WordPress user on this site. Every user has to have a different email address.
(If you haven’t used my tutorials before, start by reading How to read my WordPress tutorials.)
From your WordPress dashboard:
> Users > Add New
Enter the required information.
Username: will be the the username used to log into WordPress and also listed as a user on your dashboard.
Email: must be an address that is not currently used by another user on this WordPress site, only one user per email address
Password: should be changed after you receive the email for the new user. You don’t need to do anything here. But if you want you can look at and record the password that will be sent in the email.
Role: here I am picking Editor because I want to be able to edit existing posts, as well as write new posts, with this user
> Add New User
To change the password for your new user, you must first logout of your WordPress administrator account.
In the upper right, > Log Out
Go to your email and retrieve your username and password information.
> the address/link to set your password
Enter a new password.
> Reset Password
> Login)You will use the Username you entered when you when you set up your new user (also found in your email) and the password you just entered. That’s it! You now have another user to use when you are blogging on public wifi or another un-secure location. You won’t be able to make any structural changes to your site, but if your password gets stolen, neither will the hacker!
