Save youself time with this tip about one best photo size to use in blog posts and social media, including Facebbok, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. And learn how to process a big batch of photos all at once.Photo sizes for blogs and social media change all the time as screen resolution gets better. This can make it hard to know what size to upload photos to a blog. At this point, I’ve chosen to go with a social media size that seems to be the largest and hope it will last me for awhile without taking up too much space. After preparing my domains for transfer, and initiating the transfer at my new domain registrar, I waited 4 days for the transfer to be approved. It wasn’t happening. And I only had one more day before my new domain registrar, Google Domains, would stop the process.

Here is an overview of what you need to know how to do at your old registrar:

  1. Unlock the domain
  2. Suspended privacy
  3. Make sure the contact information is up to date and includes an email address that you have access to and can read the emails sent to you. 
  4. If you are only changing domain registrars (not website hosts) you don’t need to do anything to nameservers. But just in case, write down your current nameservers.
  5. Copy your EPP/Authorization code that you’ll need for your new registrar.
  6. Eventually, you may need to  approve the transfer here at your old registrar.
